CMC is a pellet binder and flotation inhibitor in the mining industry. CMC is a raw material for mineral powder forming binder. Binder is an indispensable component for making pellets. It can improve the properties of wet ball, dry ball and roasted pellets, has good cohesiveness and pelletization, and the produced green balls have good explosion resistance, high dry and wet ball compression and drop strength, and at the same time can improve the pellet grade. CMC is also a regulator in the flotation process, mainly used as silicate gangue inhibitor, used for lead inhibition in the separation of copper and lead, and sometimes used as a slurry dispersant.
