Main use
Used in detergents to prevent dirt from redepositing, the principle is that there is mutual electrostatic repulsion between negatively charged dirt and CMC molecules adsorbed on the fabric itself and charged. In addition, CMC can also effectively thicken the washing slurry or soap and stabilize the structure of the composition.
